Configuring Your Retell Agent
Supported Variables
These variables are automatically replaced by Revampd when calls are made. They allow your Retell agent to deliver fully personalized and context-aware conversations.
{{first_name}}
The first name of the current lead.
{{agent_name}}
The name your AI assistant will introduce itself as.
{{available_times}}
Automatically replaced with optimized available appointment times from the connected campaign’s calendar.
{{single_transfer_number_e164}}
The phone number the AI should transfer to if a live transfer is triggered.
{{single_transfer_title}}
The label or role title of the person or department receiving the transfer (for example, “licensed agent” or “specialist”).
Use these variables in your Retell script to create natural, dynamic conversations. Each value is resolved from live campaign and lead data at the time of call.
Webhook Settings
To enable real-time synchronization between Retell and Revampd, configure the following webhook in your Retell dashboard.
Required Webhook URL:

Log in to your Retell dashboard.
Select your agent.
Open the Webhook Settings panel.
Paste the URL above into the Agent Level Webhook URL field.
Save your changes.
This webhook ensures Revampd receives real-time updates such as transcriptions, call events, and outcomes—powering automations like requeue logic, appointment syncing, and reporting.
Inbound Call Setup
If you plan to receive inbound calls through Retell, you must configure each inbound phone number with the same webhook URL.
Required Webhook URL:

In your Retell dashboard, go to Phone Numbers.
Select the phone number you want to connect.
Under Inbound Call Agent, enable Add an inbound webhook.
Paste the webhook URL into the Enter URL field.
Save your changes.
This step must be repeated for every phone number used in your Revampd campaigns to ensure inbound calls are processed correctly.
Once your webhook and API key are set, you can return to the Revampd dashboard to import your AI agents and assign phone numbers to campaigns.
